How it works

Application review is separate from activation

Submitting an application registers your interest and starts a review. Approval means you may proceed to agreements and verification. It does not activate you, authorize dispatch, or place you under any insurance coverage.

  1. 1

    Submit an application

Tell us about your business, driver qualifications, equipment, authority status, and service preferences. No Social Security number or bank details are requested.

  2. 2

    Eligibility review

LCL reviews your application and may request additional information. Review does not guarantee approval.

  3. 3

    Verification & documents

Insurance, driver qualification, vehicle inspection, and compliance checks are verified through a private document process.

  4. 4

    Written agreements

An approved applicant must complete the required written agreements before any operation is authorized.

  5. 5

    Activation

Only after every agreement, insurance approval, qualification, and compliance check is complete can LCL activate an operator.

About operating authority and insurance

LCL does not rent, sell, or lease its MC or USDOT number. In the future, eligible owner-operators may work under LCL's operating authority only through a properly structured and reviewed carrier relationship, after all required legal agreements, carrier controls, insurance approvals, qualifications, and compliance checks are complete. Until then, no applicant is represented as covered by LCL's insurance or authorized to operate on LCL's behalf.
