Community guidelines
The LCL Food Community is a public space for Lancaster. These rules keep it useful and safe.
Be a good neighbor
Disagree with ideas, not people. No harassment, threats, hate speech or personal attacks.
Keep private details private
Never post phone numbers, home addresses, emails, order numbers or account details — yours or anyone else’s. Moderators remove posts that do.
Use Support for order and account problems
A late order, a refund or a login issue belongs in private Support, where only you and LCL staff can see it. Nothing you send to Support is ever posted here.
Post in the right place
Jobs, events, partnerships and promotions come from verified businesses, organizations and restaurant partners. Promotional posts are labeled Sponsored.
No spam
Repeated posts, link dumps and advertising outside the business categories are removed. New members can include up to 3 links per post.
Ideas for LCL
Share what would make LCL better. The LCL team reviews ideas, sets a public status and posts “You asked, we’re working on it” updates when we act.
Reporting and moderation
Use Report on any post or comment. Reports are private: the author never sees who reported them. Content with several reports is hidden until a moderator reviews it. Moderators can hide, remove, restore or lock content and pause posting for members who break these rules. Posts and comments can be edited for 7 days.
